Fit & Feel
Will it roll down or dig into my ribs?
No. We use a bonded silicone waistband and reinforced side panels engineered to stay flat against the body — no rolling, no digging, no muffin-top. If it does either of those things on you, send it back within 30 days for a full refund. This is the single biggest complaint about shapewear and we designed the Isla Shaping Shorts specifically to solve it.
Can I wear it all day?
Yes. The fabric is moisture-wicking nylon-spandex — breathable enough for eight-hour days, flights, hot flashes. It's designed to disappear on the body, not remind you it's there.
Is it visible under clothing?
The seams are bonded — no stitching lines to show through fitted dresses or lighter fabrics. Latte disappears under nudes, whites, and pastels. Black is the safer pick under darker colors and denim.
How much compression should I expect?
Moderate — enough to smooth the silhouette and hold the midsection, not enough to restrict movement or breathing. You can sit down after lunch without wanting to unbutton anything.

How do I choose my size?
The size chart on this page uses your natural waist and hip measurements. Sizes run S through 4XL. We fit consistently across the range — a 3XL is designed for a 3XL body, not a scaled-up small.
What if I'm between sizes?
Size down if you want firmer compression and a smoother silhouette under fitted clothing. Size up if you want lighter smoothing and all-day comfort. When in doubt, email us your measurements and the outfit you're wearing it under — we'll tell you which to pick.
My body changes month to month. Will this still fit?
Yes. The fabric has four-way stretch that accommodates the everyday shifts — cycle bloating, weekend indulgence, hormonal swings. It moves with the body, not against it.

How do I wash it?
Machine wash cold with like colors. Hang or lay flat to dry. Skip the tumble dryer — heat breaks down the elastane and shortens the life of the compression. Don't bleach, don't iron.
How long will it last?
With cold-wash-and-hang-dry care, expect 12 to 18 months of daily wear before the compression noticeably relaxes. We recommend rotating two pieces if you're wearing it every day — doubles the lifespan of both.
